DARJEELING TEA Country of Origin: IndiaRegion: DarjeelingTea Estate: CastletonAltitude: between 1300m to 2500mGrade: FTGFOP (Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe-a medium whole leaf)Manufacture Type: OrthodoxPicking Time: Summer 2019Ingredients: Luxury black tea Originally planted in 1885 by Dr. Charles Graham, the slopes of Castleton span Kurseong, Pankhabari and the Hill Card Roads. Castleton’s teas are created from select and pure china bushes that are exquisite and delicate. The pluckings from this garden are some of the most cherished, sought after teas from the region and they consistently delight on a year-to-year basis. Tasting Notes:——————The medium-sized copper black leaves have some tips and a few green flakes, and give off a sweet aroma. The cup has a very nicely balanced floral and burnt woody flavor profile.
