DARJEELING TEACountryof Origin: IndiaRegion:DarjeelingTeaEstate: PoobongAltitude:between 980m to 2500mGrade:FTGFOP1 (Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe-a medium whole leaf)ManufactureType: OrthodoxPickingTime: Autumn 2024Ingredients:Luxury black tea Teas from summer and fall plucking of premium Darjeeling estates come together in this expertly crafted blend to rise high and shine brightly. The dry leaves are a mixture of copper and dark grey with a quintessentially autumnal floral aroma with hints of dry forest leaves. On brewing for 4 minutes, we get a bright golden liquor that starts with brisk floral and spicy notes. As the cup cools down we discover the characteristic dark fruity, muscatel flavors with a hint of spicy notes of cinnamon and rare woods in the background. A tea with well-woven layers that surprises with every sip. We are sure you will fall for it!Steeping: 2 teaspoonful per cup (3 grams for 8 ounces/ 240 ml) of water at 95°C (203°F) for 4-5 minutes. You can brew this tea through 2 infusions.*** If you don't have a thermometer handy to measure your water temperature, don't worry! Here is an eye guide--180° F / 82° C = bubbles form on the bottom of the pot 195° F / 90° C = the first bubbles begin to rise 212° F / 100° C = full rolling boil Packing : We send our teas in a resealable kraft paper zip-lock stand-up pack with food-grade aluminum foil lining. We recommend storing your tea in this supplied bag away from direct sunlight or moisture. We do not recommend keeping the teas in fridge. ----We source our teas directly from Darjeeling, that is why we can offer such good prices for these high quality teas----**Customs information**Herbadiet will not be liable for packages refused or held by customs for delivery.
