Ceylon tea is a bright and lively classic with a smooth taste, from partially fermented young tea leaves. It has a crisp aroma reminiscent of citrus, and is often used in blends. Ceylon teas are grown on various estates in Sri Lanka. Our tea is also Certified Organic. You will receive your tea in the beautiful gift bags shown in the picture on this listing. On the backside of the middle and larger bags, the bag is clear to view the tea, as shown in the pic. One side is gold, and the other side is clear. We hunted high and low for these bags and just love them. They are very elegant and will enhance your tea experience as well as make our teas perfectly suited for gift giving. You will receive 4 oz. of loose tea, which is approximately 1.25 cups. Depending on how strong you like your tea, this amount will make approximately 40-50 cups of tea. The 4 ounce bag is the middle one shown in the picture. If you would like 8 ounces, just buy two quantities, and we will package your tea in the larger 8 ounce bag shown in the picture. The smallest bag is 2 oz, and is used in our Sampler Packs that we now have available! The picture in this listing is the actual tea you will receive.
