When steeped in hot water, these balls slowly blossom into a bouquet of breathtaking shapes and exquisite flavors. Flowering tea consist each of a bundle of dried tea leaves wrapped around one or more dried flowers. These are made by binding tea leaves and flowers together into a bulb and are then set to dry. When steeped, the bundle expands and unfurls in a process that emulates a blooming flower, while the flowers inside emerge as the centerpiece. This item incldes 18 pieces handmade tea balls, 6 varieties, 3 blooms each. Ingredients: Yunnan pu-erh tea leaves, lily flowers, white chrysanthemum flowers, yellow chrysanthemum flowers, peony flowers, rose flowers, jasmine flowers. Brewing guide: Flowering tea is generally served in containers made of glass, or other transparent material, so that the flowering effect can be seen. Place one tea ball in a clear, medium to large sized glass tea pot or tempered glass pitcher. Pour full boil water into the glass container. Watch for three to five minutes as it unravels from a tiny ball into a beautiful flower-like bloom. The bundles can usually be reused three times without the tea becoming bitter.
