The tea bushes at Margaret’s Hope are mostly from the Chinese variety of Camellia sinensis and grown at altitudes of 6000 – 7,000 ft above sea level. Growth is much slower in the cool weather at this altitude producing limited crops.This special china, FTGFOP1 grade is a beautiful tea with a nuanced fruity-floral taste profile. Dry leaves are primarily black and brown in color with a fair amount of green leaves and some silvery tips. The deep golden liquor has a delicate citrusy aroma with a well balanced fruity and floral taste profile with notes of orange blossom and tropical fruits. This smooth, subtle-bodied cup with a long fruity finish is sure to delight you.Steeping: 2 teaspoonful per cup (2-3g tea per 8 ounces/ 240 ml) of water at 85°C (185°F) for 3 – 3 1/2 minutes.
