The tea bushes at Margaret’s Hope are mostly from the Chinese variety of Camellia sinensis and grown at altitudes of 6000 – 7,000 ft above sea level. Growth is much slower in the cool weather at this altitude producing limited crops.This special china, FTGFOP1 grade is a beautiful tea with a nuanced fruity-floral taste profile. Dry leaves are primarily black and brown in color with a fair amount of green leaves and some silvery tips.
