Rohini tea estate became one of the youngest gardens in Darjeeling when it was re-planted in 1994 by the Saria family. This garden has flourished under the experience and expertise of Saria family producint teas of exceptional quality. Beautifully rolled dry leaves of this particular lot are lightly oxidised, with lots of silvery tips. When brewed for 3 minutes we get a light golden-green liquor with a very fresh aroma of spring flowers. The cup has a round, balanced and creamy taste with pleasant hazel nut tones and long sweet and slightly astringent aftertaste. Steeping: 2 teaspoonful per cup (3 grams for 8 ounces/ 240 ml) of water at 85°C (185°F) for 3 minutes.
