How to use/consume Dried Bearberry Leaves? Infusion: 2 tablespoons dried Bearberry Leaves poured with 1/2 liter of cold water, soaked for 24 hours, now boiled for 5 minutes, filtered and drunk after cooling. Take 1-2 tablespoons 3-4 times a day. Adding 1 teaspoon of baking soda enhances the action. Tea:Pour 150ml of boiling water over 2.5g of finely chopped or coarsely powdered bearberry leaves and strain after 10 to 15 minutes. If you want to keep the content of tannins as low as possible, prepare a cold-water maceration. To do this leave the drug in the cold water for 6 to 12 hours, then strain the drug and heat the tea. Tea/Infusion 2:Pour 1 tablespoon of the dried leaves into 500 ml of cold water, leaving it to soak for 8-12 hours and boiling for 5 minutes. After soaking for another 20 minutes, strain, drink at 4-5 intervals during the day. It should be taken for at least a few months to feel its uroantiseptic effect. Decotion:1 teaspoon is placed in 150 ml of boiling water, boiled for 15 minutes and left to stand for another 20 minutes. Drink 150 ml 3-4 times a day before meals. NOTE: The herb irritates the uterine muscles, it is not recommended during pregnancy!In large doses it exacerbates inflammatory changes and causes vomiting.
